RAVELEY (GREAT),a parish in the hundred of HURSTINGSTONE, county of HUNTINGDON, 3¾ miles (S.W.) from Ramsey, containing 2212 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, with Upwood, in the archdeaconry of Huntingdon, and diocese of Lincoln, and in the patronage of Earl Sandwich. The church is demolished. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
